About The Practice

I practice a Modern and Holistic approach to Homeopathy. Meaning that although Homeopathy would be my first and preferred therapy, I would not hesitate to compliment the homeopathic treatment with other therapies to support the healing.

One of the Advantages of seeing a Modern or Clinical Homeopath such as myself or a Naturopath over a Classical Homeopath is that we tend to betterprepared to deal with the complex interactions between prescription drugs and natural remedies. Not only are most clients already on prescription drugs-often multiple prescription drugs, but often the clients are suffering more from the effects of the prescription drugs than the original complaint. We live in a complex society with complicated effects on our health. In my opinion the Classical-Single remedy school of Homeopathy is too narrow and inflexible to deal with the modern complex human being who needs all the help and support natural remedies can offer including at times Poly-Pharmacy (the prescribing of more than one single Homeopathic remedy at a time), Complex Remedies (Remedies that are a combination of several Homeopathic remedies in a single pellet or liquid), and Potency Chords (the combination of a single Homeopathic remedy in several different potencies in one pellet or liquid).

We are interested and open to helping clients with a variety of complaints. If we feel that we cannot help you, we won’t hesitate in saying so and would refer you to someone better able to treat you.

Our clients tend to be in the 18 to 45 age group and are usually quite self-motivated to improve their health through natural therapies.

Healing works best when clients are full partners in their own treatment including empowering themselves through researching their conditions and available alternative therapies and providing the patience and follow-through sometimes needed to correct long- term complaints.

In addition to Homeopathy I also practice Isopathy, Tautopathy, Herbal Medicine (Phyto-therapy), and some forms of Traditional Healing.

I have no formal training in medicine and I am not a medical doctor nor would I represent myself as such. I do not diagnose diseases or conduct medical tests. I am not a licensed health care professional.  My knowledge is based on my family’s multi-generational practice of Herbalism and Traditional healing, and my own 20 years of experience in helping people restore their health, and several years of  study of Homeopathy, Isopathy, Tautopathy, Medicinal Herbal Therapy and the Traditional Healing Arts.

I would not hesitate to refer a client to an Acupuncturist, Chiropractor, Naturopath or Osteopath  if it appears that
their therapies would be a benefit. I also would not hesitate to refer a client to a Conventional Doctor or to the emergency room if their condition warrants it. I strongly believe that there should be no divisions amongst the Healing Professions and that all effective therapies have a place in the Circle of Healing.

We offer a Sliding Scale and have a Low Cost Clinic for unemployed or low-income persons.

We also grow and custom make our own Herbal and Homeopathic remedies.
